FLAME 4VOX Wavetable Oscillator FIRWARE UPDATE V1.04 ----------------------------------------------------- Overview of additions / changes: - additional MIDI settings in the GLOBAL menu - new global "real" MIDI POLY MODE with adjustable midi channel and VCO A-D = Voices 1-4 with "round robin" voice allocation mode - adjustable midi controller numbers additionally with velocity and aftertouch - Change the MIDI pitch bend range to +/- 2 semitones The 4VOX manual V1.02 can still be used. The additional functions and changes in the firmware update v1.04 affect only the GLOBAL menu (as well as the VCO setting PLAYMODE). The module was expanded to include a new PLAY mode, the MIDI POLY MODE. This mode is switched ON or OFF in the GLOBAL menu. There you can now also add the MIDI controller numbers change (which could not previously be changed). The GLOBAL menu has been expanded with the following setting options: Parameter Value Value range (setting options) POLY MODE: off off,1-16 (aus oder Midikanal 1-16) MORPH: CC 001 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY AMPLITUDE: CC 007 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY AMP MOVE: CC 016 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY DETUNE: CC 013 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY OCTAVE: CC 014 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY SEMITONE: CC 015 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY CHORD: CC 012 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY PORTAMENTO: CC 005 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY WAVETABLE: CC 018 CC 000-127, AT, POLY AT, VELOCITY (AT= Aftertouch, POLY AT= polyphonic Aftertouch) The MIDI pitch bend range has been changed to +/- 2 semitones. The MIDI controller receive channel depends on the set PLAYMODE or MIDI POLY MODE: With MIDI POLY MODE (global setting) it is the midi channel set there in the GLOBAL MENU. The module only receives Midi notes and the Midi controller on this channel. If the MIDI POLY MODE is set to "OFF", the module works as usual as 4 independent VCOs, the PLAYMODE of which is defined in the VCO menu. The midi channels of VCO A-D are then permanently set to channels 1-4 (VCO-A = 1, VCO-B = 2, VCO-C = 3, VCO-D = 4). In MIDI POLY MODE, the module works as a "real" quad polyphonic VCO, with the 4 voices coming separately from the 4 audio outputs. The voice allocation works according to the "Round robin" algorithm (Round robin allocation).
